Your Questions, Answered

  • I offer live illustration experiences for:

    • Weddings (including full‑day coverage)

    • Private celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, hen / stag parties, baby showers)

    • Corporate events and brand activations

    • Parties and social gatherings

Regardless of occasion, the illustrations are tailored to the vibe and audience of your event.

  • Guests are sketched individually or in couples in real time on high-quality cards, usually A6, though other sizes can be arranged on request.

Each portrait is created live and given directly to guests as a personalised keepsake — making it a fun, interactive experience they’ll remember.

On some occasions, I can take a quick photo of guests and complete the artwork afterwards, so they can continue enjoying the event and collect their portrait at the end. This can be arranged in advance if preferred.

  • There are several options:
Essential: ~3 hours of live guest portrait sketching (~20–25 guests)
Premium: ~5 hours of live guest sketching (~40 guests)
Luxe: Up to 8 hours of sketching (~60 guests) plus a studio‑finished A4 portrait of the couple
Bespoke: Fully custom illustration service tailored to your vision (pricing on request)

  • On average, each portrait takes about 7-12 minutes:

    • 5–6 individual portraits per hour

    • 4 couple portraits per hour

Please note that this can vary depending on:

Complex outfits or hairstyles, which may take extra time to capture.

Guest flow and engagement — a continuous stream allows for a steady pace, but delays or hesitant guests can slow the process.

However I aim to create as many portraits as possible during the event, making the most of every minute.

  • Yes — I can take photos during the event and create portraits either afterward or during the event. This approach allows guests to continue enjoying themselves. I prefer working face-to-face whenever possible, especially at large gatherings, because interacting with guests makes the experience more engaging — and you’ll be surprised how popular the illustration station becomes as a form of live entertainment!

  • If you have a VIP list, it helps to assign someone to guide those guests to me when it’s their turn. Alternatively, I can bring an assistant for an additional £30 per hour to help manage the guest flow. This ensures I can work efficiently without interruptions.

  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the event. This ensures everything is confirmed and ready for a smooth, stress-free experience on the day.

  • Yes — as indicated at my workstation, I’ll be taking photos of my sketches and your guests with their portraits during the event. (There will be a printed sign). If any guest prefers not to be photographed, I’ll make sure they are excluded.

I’d also love to use professional photos from your photographer for my own portfolio and promotions. This can be arranged in advance so everyone is happy and everything runs smoothly.

  • Yes — I can travel to events abroad. Please note that additional fees may apply to cover travel and accommodation.
